Troubleshooting

  • Confirm that the extension is installed and enabled in Edit → Preferences → Get Extensions (or Add-ons).
  • Confirm that Blender is within the supported 4.5 LTS–5.2 LTS range.
  • Restart Blender after installation.
  • Reinstall from the original archive rather than an unpacked folder.

The repository asks for a token or shows nothing

  • Confirm the repository URL is exactly https://repo.ninotlabs.com/api/v1/extensions/.
  • Confirm Requires Access Token is enabled and your token is pasted without surrounding spaces.
  • Tokens are personal and can be revoked — if yours stopped working, contact Ninot Labs for a new one.

The model setup fails or the engine does not start

Section titled “The model setup fails or the engine does not start”
  • Confirm that Windows can see the NVIDIA GPU and its current driver.
  • Confirm the ~9 GB weight download completed and the files are still present — rerun Set Up Titella… to verify and resume; it only fetches what is missing.
  • Check that security software did not quarantine one of the bundled companion binaries (kimodo-worker.exe, kimodo-infer.exe, kimodo-provision.exe).
  • Close other GPU-heavy applications and retry.
  • Close other applications using GPU memory.
  • Reduce other GPU-heavy workloads in the Blender scene.
  • Lower Samples to 1 in the Advanced panel.
  • Lower Steps in the Advanced panel and click Apply Live — the stream picks the change up without restarting.
  • Disable the preview character while streaming if the viewport itself is the bottleneck.
  • Check the constraint count shown next to Generate Motion — if it reads zero, the waypoints/pose keys were not picked up.
  • Raise Constraint Guidance in the Advanced panel.
  • While streaming, constraints must be ahead of the playhead and explicitly sent with Send Constraints.

Generated motion is a starting point, not a locked render. Enable Foot-Skate Cleanup in the Advanced panel for planted feet and a steadier root, then refine the action with Blender’s timeline, Dope Sheet and Graph Editor. For a production rig, check retarget mappings and contact points before editing individual curves.

Record the Blender version, Windows version, GPU model, available VRAM, Titella version and the exact error text. Include a minimal .blend file when the problem is scene-specific.
