First generation

Titella turns a motion description into editable armature animation inside Blender.

  1. Open a saved Blender scene.
  2. Open the Titella tab in the 3D Viewport N-panel.
  3. Keep the backend on Kimodo (text → motion). This is the default.

You do not need an armature up front — Titella builds its own generation puppet on the first run.

The Motion Script is a list of segments. Each segment is one prompt with its own duration in frames; segments chain into a single continuous motion with a smooth transition between them.

Write prompts like stage directions — subject and movement, not camera language:

  • A person steps back, braces, then pushes forward with both hands.
  • Walk forward slowly, look left, then stop.
  • Crouch, jump vertically and land with knees bent.

Motion is generated at 30 fps. If your scene runs at a different rate, the panel warns you and offers a one-click fix.

Click Generate Motion and let the local model complete — a progress bar tracks the diffusion steps and the run can be cancelled at any point. The result is baked as a normal Blender action on the generated armature. Scrub the timeline, inspect the Action and adjust timing, poses or curves with Blender’s animation tools.

Enable Preview Character to have Vicent, the bundled clay-style preview puppet, follow the generated skeleton so you can judge the motion on a body instead of bones.

Open Advanced under the Generate panel when the first take is close but not right:

  • Seed — lock it to iterate on one take; change it to explore.
  • Steps — 30–60 for fast previews, 100 for final quality.
  • Samples — generate several takes at once and keep the best one from the take picker.
  • Text / Constraint Guidance — how strongly the prompt and any constraints steer the motion.
  • Foot-Skate Cleanup — a post-processing pass that pins planted feet and steadies the root. Root Margin and Contact Threshold tune it.

Use Retargeting to move the action onto a supported production rig, or steer the motion with constraints.
